How can my campaign advertise on Twitter?

As of 2019, Twitter prohibits advertisers from purchasing or selling political advertising on its platform. This includes issue advertising which Twitter characterizes as ads that “advocate for or against legislative issues of national importance.”

The prohibition includes ads that discuss any type of candidate, party or other overtly political content. Ads that refer to general causes and are placed by organizations are allowed, but with restrictions. Those restrictions include targeting specific audiences and the mention of specific legislation.

Although you cannot advertise on the Twitter anymore, you can still create an account for your campaign and engage with your audience.
